Framed Trump–Putin image displayed in White House Photo
A photograph of US President Donald Trump standing alongside Russian President Vladimir Putin has appeared on display inside the White House.
White House correspondent Elizabeth Landers shared the picture on X, noting that she noticed the framed image in a vestibule connecting the West Wing to the presidential residence, an area where she had not previously seen it, Caliber.Az reports.
Also something I noticed in a vestibule area that connects the West Wing to the residence that I hadn’t see before: a framed photo of Presidents Trump and Putin at their summer summit in Alaska. Lower photo is President Trump with one of his grandchildren. pic.twitter.com/jabUEmZyay

She added that another photo displayed below it shows President Trump with one of his grandchildren.
The image was taken at the Elmendorf–Richardson military base in Anchorage, Alaska, where the two presidents met on August 15 for talks over Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and several European leaders were not included in the meeting. Zelenskyy later criticised the talks, characterising them as a personal victory for Putin and arguing that the Russian leader was not genuinely interested in peace but was instead seeking to ease international isolation and delay further sanctions.
