France arrests villa of Russian tycoon Friedman on the Cote d'Azur

French authorities seized a villa in Saint-Tropez owned by the family of Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman. It is reported by Nice Matin.

According to the publication, the villa was bought in the late 90s of the last century by Akinita. Until 2015, Fridman's ex-wife Olga Aiziman was the main shareholder of the enterprise. Later, 99% of the shares were transferred to the businessman's daughters.

The family did not live in the villa, but rented it out for about €4.5 thousand per day. The mansion with an area of 580 square meters with 10 rooms is located on the Côte d'Azur. On the territory of the site there is a swimming pool, a bathhouse, a sauna and a helipad.
