France suspects Iran of involvement in foiled Paris bomb plant

French authorities are investigating a possible Iranian connection after security services prevented a bomb explosion near the Bank of America building in Paris over the weekend, as reported by The Associated Press.

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez stated that the method used by the perpetrators is similar to recent terrorist attacks in the Netherlands and Belgium, for which a pro-Iranian group had claimed responsibility.

The group, known on Telegram as Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia, also claimed involvement in the arson attack on four ambulances belonging to a Jewish charity organisation in London last week.
