Freed hostages cross into Israel, reunite with families UPDATED
Seven Israeli hostages are being escorted by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Service (ISA) to an initial reception site in southern Israel, where they will undergo medical checks and be reunited with their families.
According to Caliber.Az, citing a joint statement from the IDF and ISA published on the IDF’s Telegram channel, the hostages — Eitan Mor, Alon Ohel, Ziv Berman, Gali Berman, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Omri Miran, and Matan Angrest — were accompanied across the border by IDF and ISA personnel.
The statement emphasised that IDF representatives are also accompanying family members waiting at the reception site, providing updates and support as the hostages return home.
“The Israel Defence Forces are prepared to receive additional hostages, who are expected to be handed over to the Red Cross at a later date,” the joint statement added.

The hostages are now on their way to an initial reception site in southern Israel, where they will be reunited with their families, Caliber.Az reports via IDF press service.
“The returned hostages, accompanied by IDF and ISA forces, have entered the territory of the State of Israel and are en route to their reception site. The Israel Defence Forces are prepared to receive additional hostages, who are expected to be handed over to the Red Cross at a later date,” the statement said.
