French diplomat dies in Israeli strike in Gaza Strip

The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has written that a diplomat of the ministry Elia Toledano was killed in an Israeli strike on a house in the Gaza Strip.

“Diplomat of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elia Toledano was killed in an Israeli strike on a house in the Gaza Strip,” Lenta.ru reports citing a message posted by the ministry on its website.

Wounded Toledano, 28, died during Israel’s bombing of Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip. The diplomat took refuge in the house of colleagues from the French Consulate General. About ten people were killed during the attack on the house.
