French FM to visit Türkiye for talks on bilateral ties

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot is set to pay an official visit to Türkiye on January 27, where he will hold talks with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, focusing on bilateral relations and future cooperation.

According to diplomatic sources, discussions will cover a range of issues, including trade, defence cooperation and Türkiye’s relations with the European Union,  Caliber.Az reports per foreign media. 

The two ministers are also expected to exchange views on key regional and international developments, notably the conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza and Syria.
