French left files motion of no confidence to bring down "Lecornu-2" Cabinet
The left-wing party France Unbowed has submitted a motion of no confidence in the government to the National Assembly, the lower house of the French parliament.
The announcement was made by the head of the party’s parliamentary group, Mathilde Panot, Caliber.Az reports.
“We have submitted a motion of no confidence that will lead to the fall of the Lecornu-2 government!” she wrote on X.

Elle est signée par des député·es Ultramarins, communistes, écologistes et l'ensemble du groupe insoumis.

Panot noted that the motion was co-signed not only by members of her own party but also by representatives of the French Communist Party, the Ecologist Party, and deputies from France’s overseas territories.
She expressed confidence that following the collapse of the Lecornu government, the president himself should also resign.
