French TV reveals rare footage of Russian drones intercepted from civilian plane PHOTO / VIDEO

A French television report has shown rare footage of Russian drones being countered from the air.

TF1’s evening news programme, LE 20H, broadcast images of operations against Russian Geran series unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) carried out from a civilian PZL M28 aircraft, a Polish-modified version of the Antonov An-28, Caliber.Az reports.

The operation reportedly involved the use of an M134 Minigun mounted on the aircraft, demonstrating a new method of drone countermeasures in contested airspace.
