Fresh Israeli airstrike hits Iranian nuclear complex PHOTO

Israeli aircraft, acting on intelligence from the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), recently carried out a new strike on a facility linked to Iran’s nuclear program in Tehran.

In a post on Telegram, the IDF noted that the Taleghan complex has been used by the Iranian regime to develop critical capabilities for nuclear weapons production.

In recent years, the site was involved in developing advanced explosives and conducting secret experiments under the AMAD project, a covert nuclear weapons program active in the 2000s.

“During Operation Rising Lion, the IDF has operated systematically against knowledge centres and infrastructure related to the Iranian nuclear weapon program in order to eliminate the emerging existential threat to the State of Israel. Despite the significant damage inflicted on the program, the Iranian regime has continued efforts to advance and develop capabilities required for the development of a nuclear weapon,” the Israeli army stated.

The IDF stressed that the regime has recently taken steps to restore the Taleghan complex after it was struck in October 2024. According to the IDF, this latest attack is part of a series of operations aimed at facilities linked to Iran’s nuclear program.

Earlier, on March 3, 2026, a strike targeted the Minzadeh complex. Israeli officials assert that these actions are intended to prevent Iran from advancing its nuclear capabilities.
