20 August 2026 13:49
Fires broke out at fuel infrastructure facilities and warehouse buildings in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, causing the death of one person and injuring seven others, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service has said.
In a post on Telegram, it noted that an aircraft was deployed to help extinguish the blazes, Caliber.Az reports.
“Firefighting is currently underway at two fuel infrastructure facilities in Brovary district and two warehouse buildings in Boryspil district,” the agency added.
An air raid alert was in effect across the region overnight, with reports of powerful explosions and a major fire in Brovary.
