Gas price in Europe drops below $300 per 1,000 cubic metres

The gas price in Europe during exchange trading has dropped below $300 per 1,000 cubic metres for the first time since July 31, 2023.

The overall price decline since the beginning of the day is about six per cent, Caliber.Az reports citing data from the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

The price of February futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands decreased up to $299.7 per 1,000 cubic metres or 26.6 euros per MWh (proceeding from the current exchange rate between euro and dollar, ICE prices are indicated in euros per MWh).
