Gas withdrawal from European underground storage facilities countries breaks record

The levels of gas withdrawal from underground storage facilities in European countries for the beginning of December have broken the record of the last 12 years, in the entire history of observations of the Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) association. 

European stocks emptied by 0.73 percentage points on December 13, which is the maximum level, as Gazeta.Ru reported.

Although Europe is forecasted to experience mild conditions with clear and partly cloudy weather until the end of this week, severe frosts at night are expected. This will result in gas reserves being burnt more intensively.
