Ukraine says over 700 air targets detected in overnight Russian strike PHOTO
Russia conducted a large-scale overnight attack involving drones and missiles launched from air, sea and land platforms, with more than 700 aerial targets detected, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated.
It said the main direction of the attack was Kyiv, Caliber.Az reports.

Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava region and other areas were also targeted.
In total, Ukrainian radar units recorded 729 aerial attack assets, including 73 missiles and 656 drones of various types.
These included eight 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles, 33 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 27 Kh-101 cruise missiles, five Kalibr cruise missiles, as well as 656 strike drones described as Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol loitering munitions and Parody-type decoy drones.
Air defences were carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Preliminary data show that 642 targets were shot down or suppressed, including 40 missiles and 602 drones.
The General Staff also reported confirmed impacts of 30 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles and 33 attack drones across 38 locations, as well as falling debris in 15 locations.
“The attack is ongoing! Several strike UAVs are still in Ukrainian airspace,” the statement added.
