Gasoline prices skyrocket in US

On March 17, gasoline prices in the United States continued to climb, increasing by 7 cents to an average of $3.79 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA) cited by CNN.

This marks the highest price for a gallon of regular gasoline since October 3, 2023.

Gasoline prices have been rising every day this month, with today’s increase representing the largest single-day jump since early in the Iran conflict, when prices rose by 9 cents per gallon.
