Gaza death toll exceeds 3,300 With thousands having no access no treatment
The Palestinian Health Ministry has stated the number of Palestinians killed as a result of Israeli strikes on Gaza has exceeded 3,300 people.
"At least 4,800 victims of the escalation in the Gaza Strip cannot receive treatment," the Ministry said, Caliber.Az reports, citing TASS.
The Ministry also said there was a severe shortage of medicines, problems in accessing hospitals, and water cuts, increasing the risk of an outbreak of disease. The UN has warned of a rapidly worsening humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Health has updated the number of its casualties in the Palestine-Hamas conflict, saying that about 4,500 people were affected by rocket attacks from Hamas militants since October 7.
Some 330 wounded are currently in hospitals, 61 of them in serious condition.
The number of hospitalised wounded is gradually decreasing. The condition of the wounded is stabilising.
