Gaza Strip death toll exceeds 36,000 as Israel continues battle

The number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing Israeli attacks in the blockaded Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023 has risen to 36,171, the Palestinian Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said in a statement, Anadolu reports.

"During the past 24 hours, the Israeli army carried out six massacres with 75 Palestinians as victims. In addition, another 284 people were injured," the statement said.

This brings the total number of deaths in the ongoing Israeli attacks since 7 October to 36,171 and the number of wounded to 81,420.
