Gazprom: Russia can redirect big volumes of gas to Türkiye via new routes
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller has said that Russia can redirect significant volumes of gas to Türkiye via new gas transportation routes across the Black Sea, comparable to supplies via Nord Stream.
He made the remarks on the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel in an interview with the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin." programme, according to TASS.
"We are talking about all those falling volumes that we have lost due to acts of international terrorism at Nord Stream, so these can be significant volumes," he said.
"You know, nothing is impossible," Miller said, commenting on the possibility of a complete redirection of supplies from the Baltic to the Black Sea.
"I want to remind you that we have experience in preparing for the implementation of the South Stream project, it was originally planned for a capacity of 63 billion cubic metres of gas. Therefore, even if we talk about the technical documentation for the development of the route, then for South Stream, all this was already done at one time," Miller added.
