General Staff: Ukraine downs two Russian aircraft, helicopter, UAV

The Ukrainian military has attacked the positions and military bases of Russian troops 24 times over the past day.

"Ukraine's Air Defence Forces attacked Russia’s military bases 24 times over the past day," RBC-Ukraine reports citing the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian air defence units shot down two Su-25 attack aircraft, one Mi-8 helicopter and one Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in different directions.

Moreover, Ukraine hit the positions of Russia's self-propelled artillery battery and other important military targets through missiles and artillery over the past day, the Ukrainian military said.
