Georgian foreign minister to visit Azerbaijan on January 16

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili is scheduled to make an official visit to Azerbaijan on January 16, 2025.

The visit will involve high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

As part of her visit, Minister Botchorishvili is expected to hold talks with her Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, as well as with other senior Azerbaijani officials.

The discussions will focus on various aspects of cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan, particularly in the political and economic spheres.

A key highlight of the visit will be Minister Botchorishvili's participation in the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia. The commission serves as a platform for advancing mutual economic interests and addressing various issues of bilateral concern.
