Georgian Imedi journalist looks forward to first visit to Azerbaijan's Karabakh
A visit by Georgian media representatives and bloggers to Azerbaijan is helping strengthen understanding between the peoples of the two countries, Imedi TV journalist Tika Tsereteli said on September 1, local media reports.
Speaking to journalists in Baku, Tsereteli said she was looking forward to the Georgian media delegation's upcoming visit to Azerbaijan's Karabakh region, which she will visit for the first time.
“We will prepare very interesting material in Baku and will also visit Karabakh. I am looking forward to this trip,” she said.
Tsereteli said such visits were important for strengthening people-to-people contacts and allowing the two sides to learn more about each other's cultures.
“I will be able to learn more about your culture and return to my country with new impressions,” she added.
