German chancellor: “Iran is the centre of international terrorism”

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz described Iran as the centre of global terrorism, emphasising that this hub must be dismantled, and noted that the United States and Israel are responding to it in their own manner.

He noted that “it is up to this regime and the so-called Revolutionary Guard alone to stop the fighting,” Caliber.Az reports via American media.

“So long as this not the case, I assume that Israel and America will continue their defence against this regime,” he added.

The Chancellor warned that the threat from the Iranian government extends well beyond the region, highlighting its backing of Russia in the Ukraine conflict. “Iran is the centre of international terrorism, and this centre must be closed. And the Americans and Israelis are doing that in their way,” Merz concluded.
