German drone maker to double production in Ukraine by 2025
The Ukrainian Ministry of Strategic Industries has announced that Quantum Systems, Germany's top drone manufacturer, intends to increase its production capacity in Ukraine by twofold in 2025.
The ministry highlighted that its delegation started its participation at the Munich Security Conference by holding talks with representatives from Quantum Systems, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin, stated that Quantum Systems is setting a strong example of production localization, having already established an R&D centre and a drone service and development facility in Ukraine.
During the discussions, both parties explored methods to speed up drone production. Additionally, Belgian company Thales Belgium has signed a memorandum with a Ukrainian defence firm to jointly produce missiles designed to counter drones.
Quantum Systems' drones are the perfect symbiosis of hardware and software: easy to use, durable, effective, and cutting-edge, delivering the highest-quality data fast to any operator, business owner, or soldier. Ever-evolving systems redefine how aerial data is collected, analysed, and turned into action. Hence, the company makes armed forces, governments, and companies future-proof for the age of aerial intelligence. As the global leader in eVTOL drones, the company brings innovation and speed to military users and field-proven, robust systems to the commercial world, empowering both to act on real-time mission-critical data in any environment or scenario.
