German FM goes viral preparing shawarma in Berlin VIDEO
A recent video featuring Germany’s Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock preparing shawarma at a Berlin restaurant has taken social media by storm, amassing hundreds of thousands of views.
The clip, shared by Baerbock herself on her X (formerly Twitter) account, shows the minister dressed as a restaurant worker at an eatery offering a "Syrian" menu, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

In the video, she helps prepare shawarma wraps for customers in less than a minute, seamlessly working alongside the restaurant team. The video, titled “Want a kebab from me?” quickly gained traction online, with many social media users speculating that the minister's actions were a reflection of her connection to the local community.
Others, however, suggested that the video might be part of a wider promotional strategy ahead of the upcoming German elections, which are considered to be among the most important in decades.
In the footage, Baerbock appears to be enjoying the task at hand, communicating warmly with both the restaurant staff and customers, further fueling speculation about her intentions behind the lighthearted video.
