Germany delivers armoured medical vehicles to Ukraine for frontline evacuations
Germany has handed over a further five armoured vehicles to the Ukrainian military for the evacuation of wounded personnel near the front line, according to the German Embassy in Ukraine.
The diplomatic mission said the embassy’s military attaché delivered five MEDIGUARD armoured medical vehicles to Ukraine’s National Guard under a new contract funded by Germany, Caliber.Az reports.

The embassy described the equipment as life-saving, noting that it is designed to provide medical assistance directly in evacuation zones.
It also said that one of the vehicles previously withstood an attack involving three drones at the front, with the crew escaping serious injury.
According to the embassy, the vehicles are equipped with onboard medical facilities and reinforced with external protective netting intended to shield against strikes from small drones.
