Germany denies reports of possible involvement in Iran conflict

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has clarified that Berlin has no intention of participating in military operations against Iran, citing a lack of the necessary resources, Mignews reports.

Wadephul specifically dismissed reports from official IDF radio suggesting potential German involvement, stressing that Germany will neither deploy troops nor engage in combat operations. At the same time, he reiterated Berlin’s concern over the escalating conflict in the region.

Earlier reports had indicated that Germany was seriously considering joining military action against Iran. The Foreign Minister’s statement formally rules out such participation.
