Germany to bolster EU missions in Georgia, Armenia

Germany has announced plans to increase its contingent within the frameworks of missions in Georgia and Armenia, according to Steffen Hebestreit, the spokesperson for the German government.
"For the EU civilian mission in Armenia, the maximum number of police officers will be increased from 15 to 25; for the EU monitoring mission in Georgia, the contingent will increase from 20 to 30," Hebestreit said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Furthermore, Hebestreit disclosed that Germany would also boost its personnel contribution in Somalia.
"The German contingent from Somalia will also be increased from 10 to 20 employees," he stated, underlining Germany's multifaceted engagement in international peacekeeping efforts.
