Germany to supply 12 more self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has confirmed that Germany will provide Ukraine with additional 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers.

Six of these advanced artillery pieces, which have a range exceeding 30 kilometres, will be delivered this year, with the remaining six scheduled for next year, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media. 

The total cost of the artillery systems is estimated at 150 million euros ($167 million). In addition, Pistorius stated that Germany and other European partners aim to expedite the transfer of 77 Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks to Ukraine.
