Melania Trump may keep a relatively low profile when it comes to her personal life, but one thing is clear: she prioritizes her health and well-being. Unlike her husband, Donald, who is known for his fast food habits and constant consumption of Diet Coke, Melania takes a more health-conscious approach. As a former model and a public figure constantly in the spotlight, she understands the importance of always looking her best—especially in the midst of such a politically charged environment.

Melania Trump likely follows the recommendation of drinking around 11.5 cups of water a day, as suggested by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. However, water isn’t the only thing she consumes regularly—she also enjoys a smoothie that plays a key role in her daily beverage routine. According to registered dietitian Miranda Hammer, smoothies are a great way to incorporate essential nutrients into your diet. "They're perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack," she told Time. Healthy fats in smoothies can come from options like salt-free nut butter, chia or flax seeds, coconut yogurt, or full-fat organic yogurt.

In 2012, Melania Trump shared details about her daily eating habits during an interview with Refinery 29. When asked about her routine, she mentioned that every morning she enjoys a smoothie packed with vitamins and healthy ingredients, though she didn’t go into further detail. However, the public seemed eager to learn more, prompting Melania to share her smoothie recipe on Facebook in February 2013. "Got many requests from you for [the] recipe of my every day delicious [and] healthy breakfast," she wrote. Her smoothie includes a mix of fresh, organic ingredients: spinach, celery, carrots, blueberries, apple, orange juice, lemon juice, fat-free yogurt, olive oil, flax seeds, omega-3, and vitamin D.

Melania's smoothie is packed with nutritious ingredients, many of which are known for their health benefits. Spinach, for instance, often ranks as one of the healthiest vegetables due to its low calorie content and abundance of antioxidants, calcium, and vitamins K, A, and C. Carrots are another powerhouse, with a 2018 study in Medicine suggesting that consuming them daily may reduce the risk of breast cancer.

As for the berries, she opts for the ultimate health choice—blueberries, which are rich in antioxidants and vitamins C and K. Flax seeds are also a great addition, offering omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber, and potential cholesterol-lowering benefits. With all these beneficial ingredients, Melania’s smoothie is undoubtedly a nutritious powerhouse. 

In a 2012 interview with Refinery 29, Melania Trump shared that she had juice along with oatmeal that morning, deviating from her usual smoothie. Although she didn’t specify the type of juice, given that she includes apple juice in her daily smoothie and is known to favor apples and peaches (according to Inside Edition), it’s reasonable to assume that apple juice is her go-to choice. Apple juice is a great source of antioxidants, particularly if the pulp is left intact, and it also offers heart-healthy benefits due to its potassium content, as noted by Healthline.

While fruit and vegetable juices can be a tasty way to supplement your diet, eating whole fruit is generally the healthier option. According to the Mayo Clinic, juices are packed with vitamins and nutrients but lose valuable fiber during the juicing process. It’s likely that Melania Trump is aware of this, which is why she ensures she eats seven pieces of fruit each day, as reported by Inside Edition. Between her smoothies and daily fruit consumption, perhaps Donald could take a few pointers from his wife’s nutritious habits.
