Global COVID-19 infection cases exceed 527 million
The number of registered cases of coronavirus infection across the world has surpassed 527 million.
According to data released by American Johns Hopkins University, since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak in the world, nearly 6.3 million people have died from the disease.
Countries with more than 20 million infections continue to include the United States, India, Brazil, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
The number of infected and those who died from the consequences of infection, respectively, amounted to:

Also, more than 11.4 billion vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered globally.
According to the portal Worldometers, which specializes in statistics on the most important world events, the death rate per 1 million people on the planet was 808.2 on May 22 morning.
