Global experts to gather for conference on Western Azerbaijanis' right to return
The upcoming conference on "The right to return: Advancing justice for Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia" which will take place on December 5-6, will feature over 100 delegates from 52 countries worldwide.
Ulviyya Zulfikar, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Western Azerbaijan Community explained that discussions will be held during the five sessions on the opening day, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
There are 12 parliamentarians from eight countries, presidential advisors from two nations, and the vice president of one country among the participants.
Former Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, former ambassadors from two countries, and 24 professors from 23 renowned universities across 17 nations will also be attending the event.
Additionally, 14 active members of the Azerbaijani diaspora, founders, directors, or staff from 20 research centres and academies in 17 countries, as well as leaders or experts from 12 international research institutes across 11 countries, will participate.
Other notable attendees include three members of government councils from three countries, eight lawyers and human rights defenders from eight nations, a movement leader, senior officials from parliamentary offices of various countries, journalists, and businesspeople.
In addition, honorary membership certificates will be presented to sixteen individuals from ten countries. The cultural segment of the event will take place on December 6.
