Governor: Russian air defences repel drone attack in Rostov region

Russian air defence forces have intercepted a large-scale drone attack over the Rostov region, with no casualties reported, Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar said.

According to him, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed or intercepted in multiple districts, including Taganrog, Millerovo, Chertkovo, and Sholokhovsky, Caliber.Az reports via the official’s post on Telegram. 

The only reported damage occurred in the Millerovo district, where falling debris caused a fire in the village of Krasnaya Zvezda. Approximately 100 square meters of dry grass ignited, but emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze.
