Greece, Bulgaria hold talks on regional security cooperation

Nikolaos Dendias, Greece’s Minister of National Defence, met with Andrey Gurov, Prime Minister of Bulgaria, in Sofia to discuss security challenges facing the region.

Reporting on the meeting via a post on X, Dendias highlighted the importance of coordinated responses between the two countries.

“The operational response of Greece to Bulgaria’s request strengthens regional security and stability. It also marks a deepening of our defence cooperation both within the European Union and within NATO,” he wrote.
