Greece, France review naval cooperation and Middle East tensions
Nikos Dendias held a lengthy telephone conversation with Catherine Vautrin as part of regular consultations between Greece and France.
According to a statement posted on the Greek defence minister’s account on X, cited by Caliber.Az, the two officials discussed the current situation in Iran and across the Middle East.

The ministers also exchanged views on strengthening naval cooperation and ensuring freedom of navigation.
During the call, Dendias expressed condolences over the death of a French warrant officer in Erbil.
The discussion also covered plans to update and expand the Strategic Partnership Agreement on Defence and Security between Greece and France.
