Greek frigates strengthen Cyprus’ maritime defence

The Greek Navy frigates Kimon and Psara continue patrolling Cyprus’ maritime area as part of measures to strengthen the Republic’s defence,  Constantinos Letimbiotis, the government spokesperson of Cyprus, has said, according to RIK.

He noted that the patrols are conducted jointly with the Greek government and aim to ensure the security of the country’s coastal and maritime territories.

On March 6, the Greek Navy released a video showing the frigate Kimon leaving Limassol port for patrol after refuelling.
