Grenade attack injures six, including child, at beauty salon in France
At least six people were injured on February 6 after a grenade was thrown into a beauty salon in Grenoble, in France’s southeastern Isère department.
The victims, including a five-year-old child, suffered minor injuries caused by the blast wave and did not require hospitalisation. Firefighters treated the injured at the scene, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Ttwo suspects allegedly entered the salon, threw a grenade inside, and fled. Witnesses reported hearing screams followed by a loud explosion.
Emergency services and police were deployed in large numbers to the area. France’s criminal investigation department has opened an investigation to identify and locate the perpetrators.
Authorities have not yet released further details on the suspects or a possible motive.
