Grenade thrown at luxury residential complex in Tel Aviv

An unidentified person threw a grenade at a high-rise apartment building in an upscale residential complex in northern Tel Aviv on Saturday night, causing minor damage but no injuries, according to Israeli media.

The explosion triggered panic among residents, although no casualties were reported, Israeli media informs.

Law enforcement officials said the residential complex is home to a number of prominent businesspeople and figures from the entertainment industry. Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack.

According to a preliminary police assessment, the incident is believed to be criminal in nature and linked to an ongoing conflict between criminal gangs. The investigation is continuing.
