Greta Thunberg arrested in London after joining pro-Palestine rally PHOTO
Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was arrested in London on suspicion of supporting a terrorist organisation after participating in a protest in support of Palestine, British outlet Metro reported.
The 22-year-old activist was handcuffed by police in Fenchurch Street in central London during a strike highlighting the plight of hunger-striking prisoners accused of involvement in raids by the Palestine Action movement, sources said.

Thunberg was present at the protest, holding placards with a sign reading “I support the Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide,” according to the Prisoners for Palestine protest group.
Her arrest followed an incident in which two activists poured paint over the offices of Aspen Insurance, which protesters claimed provides services to defence firm Elbit Systems, linked to Israel.
