Gulf air repatriates over 400 passengers amid regional airspace disruptions
Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has confirmed that it successfully repatriated more than 400 transit passengers affected by recent regional developments and the temporary closure of airspaces across several countries.
In coordination with relevant authorities, the airline activated contingency measures to assist passengers on the ground. Those affected received accommodation, meals, and regular travel updates, while alternative travel arrangements were implemented to ensure passengers could continue their journeys safely as soon as conditions allowed, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Gulf Air emphasised that it is closely monitoring the evolving situation and will resume normal operations once airspace conditions permit. The airline reaffirmed that the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew remain its highest priority.
