Shooting in Yerevan leaves one dead, several injured UPDATED

Seven people were taken to Armenia Medical Centre following a shooting in the Achapnyak district, one of whom later died in the hospital, the health ministry announced.

Three of the injured remain in critical condition, while the others are in serious but stable condition, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

Police are currently working to identify the injured.

The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs said that investigative and operational measures are ongoing at the scene.
