The Hamas-linked Palestinian Information Centre has announced that Brigadier General Jasser al-Mashoukhi was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a location in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Mashoukhi previously served as the head of the Rafah police force under the Hamas-run government prior to the ongoing war, Caliber.Az reports via Palestinian Media Center.
