Hezbollah commander killed in airstrike near Damascus PHOTO/VIDEO
A high-ranking Hezbollah commander was eliminated on December 3, near Damascus in an airstrike.
Syrian authorities stated that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle traveling on the road leading to Damascus International Airport, resulting in one fatality, Caliber.Az reports citing foreign media.

In a related development, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of seven Hamas members in the central Gaza Strip. These individuals were linked to the October 7, 2023 massacre. The militants, including members of Hamas' Nukhba force, were killed in precision strikes conducted by the 990th Brigade.
The IDF confirmed the deaths of Abd al-Razzeq, Marzouk al-Hur, Maaz al-Hur, Abd Abu-Awad Yusri, Omar Abu-Abdallah, Ahmed Zahid, Maad Abu-GarbouaAbdel Razak, Marzouk Al-Hour, Maaz Al-Hour, Abd Abu-Aud Yusri, Umar Abu-Abdallah, Ahmad Zahad, and Maad Abu Garboua.
Over the past 24 hours, the IDF also launched targeted strikes on several Hamas positions, including military buildings, sniper sites, and observation posts, uncovering and destroying numerous weapons in the process.
The 179th and 551st Brigades conducted several targeted raids in the area, during which they dismantled Hamas military terror sites, including military structures, observation posts, and sniper positions.
Additionally, numerous weapons were located and dismantled, including grenades, arms, military vests, explosives, and mortars.
