Hezbollah drone hits Netanyahu’s bedroom window in northern Israel

A drone operated by Hezbollah targeted the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in northern Israel, striking the window of his bedroom, as reported by Israeli media on October 22.

Hezbollah confirmed its responsibility for the attack on Netanyahu's private home in Caesarea, which occurred on October 19, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

The drone “directly and accurately hit the window of Netanyahu’s bedroom.” The Israeli military censor permitted the media to reveal that the attack resulted in damage to the prime minister's residence.

An image that had previously been restricted from publication by the military censor shows the damage caused by the drone's impact.

Netanyahu's office stated that the prime minister and his family were not present at the location during the attack.

In response, Israel has launched a significant air campaign in Lebanon since last month, targeting what it claims are Hezbollah positions, marking an escalation in the ongoing cross-border conflict that has intensified since Israel's military offensive on Gaza began.

Lebanese health authorities report that nearly 2,500 individuals have been killed and over 11,600 injured due to Israeli strikes since last year.

Israel escalated the conflict further on October 1 of this year by initiating a ground assault in southern Lebanon.
