Hezbollah: Iran won’t finalise US nuclear deal without Israeli pullback from Lebanon
Hezbollah said it has received assurances from Iran that Tehran will not move to finalise a nuclear agreement with the United States unless Israel withdraws from Lebanon, according to a statement from the Iran-backed group’s media relations office on June 16.
The group said it understood that any Israeli withdrawal would be a result of, rather than a pre-condition for, continued negotiations between Tehran and Washington, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding electronically between the two countries last Friday, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
Quoting what it described as Iranian assurances, Hezbollah said there would be “no nuclear deal between Iran and the United States unless the Israelis withdraw” from Lebanon.
