Hezbollah operative killed in Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon
A Hezbollah operative was killed earlier today in a targeted Israeli drone strike in the town of Kounine, southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed.
The IDF identified the individual as Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a technical officer responsible for maintaining and restoring Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the region, Caliber.Az reports.
"A short while ago, the IDF struck and eliminated the terrorist Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a Hezbollah maintenance officer, in the Kounine area in southern Lebanon.
The terrorist operated to reestablish Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites.
The terrorists' activities constituted a threat to the State of Israel and its civilians, and a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel,” the military statement said.
