Hezbollah swears loyalty to Iran’s new Supreme Leader

The Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah has publicly expressed its support for Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, LBCI reports.

In an official statement, the group confirmed its allegiance and conveyed hopes for the new leader’s success in guiding the Islamic Republic.

“Hezbollah reaffirms its loyalty to the new leader of Iran and hopes that Mojtaba Khamenei will succeed in fulfilling his duties in leading the Islamic Republic,” the statement said.

Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in US-Israeli strikes, has been chosen as his successor.
