High-level climate talks in Denmark aim to strengthen COP29 agreements
COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev has met with King Frederik X of Denmark to discuss the advancement and implementation of key decisions adopted during the COP29 climate summit.
The meeting, which underscored the importance of international cooperation in addressing global climate challenges, was reported via the official COP29 account on the social platform X, Caliber.Az reports.

Also present at the meeting were President of COP30 André Corrêa do Lago, Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard, and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Simon Stiell.
According to the statement, the discussions focused on maintaining global momentum around multilateral climate action and ensuring continuity between the outcomes of COP29 and the upcoming COP30 conference. Participants emphasized the importance of reinforcing international partnerships and aligning national actions with the decisions agreed upon during the previous summit.
