Historic Wolfsbrunnen Castle Hotel listed for sale for over €11 million

The historic Wolfsbrunnen Castle Hotel, located in the municipality of Meinhard in the German state of Hesse, has been listed for sale for more than €11 million. According to the Bild newspaper, the property is reportedly owned by owners from Russia.

"This historic estate is currently one of the most exclusive, but also one of the most expensive properties in Germany," the newspaper stated.

The castle complex occupies approximately 84,000 square meters and currently operates as a four-star hotel featuring 53 rooms and suites.

In addition to its accommodation facilities, the property includes a restaurant, wine cellar, library, spa area, fitness centre, and multiple venues for events and private functions.

"A particular advantage: a private helipad. VIP guests arriving by helicopter can land directly at the castle," Bild noted.

Originally constructed in the early 20th century, the castle has served a variety of purposes over the course of its history. After undergoing extensive renovation, it was transformed into a high-end hotel.

The property is currently being marketed through one of Germany's largest real estate platforms. The reasons behind the owners' decision to sell have not been disclosed.
