Holiday celebrations light up local orphanages in Azerbaijan PHOTO

Festive New Year events were held at Children’s Homes No. 1 and No. 2, as well as at Orphanage No. 1, at the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.

The celebrations were organized on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, providing a joyful atmosphere for the children residing in the institutions, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Volunteers from the IDEA Public Union presented gifts to the children and engaged them in various entertaining games. The initiative brought moments of happiness and festive cheer to the young participants, reflecting a spirit of care and solidarity during the holiday season.
