Houthi spokesman vows more attacks after Tel Aviv drone strike PHOTO
Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Houthi armed forces, confirmed the recent kamikaze drone attack on Tel Aviv was executed using the new Yaffa UAV.
Saree stated that the Ansarullah (Houthi) forces will persist in targeting "occupied Palestine" in retaliation for alleged atrocities committed by their adversaries, Caliber.Az reports citing foreign media.
He emphasized that Tel Aviv remains within their strike range and will continue to be a focal point of their operations.
Photographs from the scene suggest the drone, potentially Iranian-made, used a Rotax (Austria) engine.
The attack has resulted in one death and at least ten injuries.
The drone strike on Tel Aviv may be linked to the recent Israeli Defence Forces' (IDF) operation in southern Lebanon, which targeted Ali Jafar Matouk, a Hezbollah Radwan unit commander, and several of his associates in Majdal Selmeh.
Matouk was reportedly involved in orchestrating attacks against Israel.
Moreover, the Israel Air Force (IAF) struck a Hezbollah military facility in Qara.
