Houthis launch hypersonic missile strike on Israeli military base
Houthis, the Yemeni movement known as Ansar Allah, have reportedly attacked an Israeli military base located east of Tel Aviv using a hypersonic missile designated "Palestine-2."
Yahya Saria, a military spokesperson for the Houthis, announced the operation, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
He stated, "The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted a targeted military operation against the Israeli enemy's military base in the eastern part of the occupied Jaffa region, employing the Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile."
Yemen has publicly expressed its support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation since the onset of a brutal war on Gaza last October.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have stated they will not halt their attacks until Israeli assaults in Gaza end.
Following Palestinian resistance groups' Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Israel has imposed a near-total siege on Gaza, severely restricting the flow of food, medicine, electricity, and water.
